Here it is!
Here's your first sneak peak at my upcoming fanfilm! When it's complete, it will be a 7 minute action/comedy short film based on characters from World of Warcraft.
I'm hoping to have it completed this year in time to submit it to the next WoW movie contest. |

LOST The Man Behind the Curtain aka: "Well, they both had Clancy Brown in them..." by Peter Sorensen
Ah, Lost. In this weeks episode we see how Benjamin Linus came to be on the island. Locke returns to the Others with his fathers body in tow and starts looking for answers. The Losties finally confront Jack about Juliet, and the tape that Sawyer was given. And to top it all off, we finally get to see the mysterious Jacob.
What? Wait... what? You mean... huh? I, uh... uh... WHAT?!! WTF? Does that mean that... wait a sec. Huh?
*scratch, scratch*
WHAT?!!
That's pretty much how I felt about last night's episode. This close to the season finale, I was sure they were going to bring out some big guns, but last night blew my damn mind. |

A new segment from BleepingGeek.com that covers the comic book releases for the week (well, just the ones I like to read, that is).
This week we cower before the mighty writing fury that is Joss Whedon, see more than our fair share of comic book boot knockin', and watch the Punisher get his butt handed to him by five whiny women and one very tiny little girl.
Sorry, Punisher. Looks like you're in for a bad week. |

HEROES The Hard Part aka: "More setups than a crooked cop convention" by Peter Sorensen
In this weeks episode of Heroes, we get a glimpse of things to come. Peter and Claire are still trying to save the world (and keep their hands off each other), Sylar gets to play a little Norman Bates, Hiro contemplates a tough decision, and Niki and D.L. basically just run around and suck up screen time.
Let's get right into this at the beginning so I can get it out of my system: I hate setup shows. These are the shows that accomplish nothing during their time other than to move players into position for the next episode(s). It's commonplace in lesser dramas where you're focusing on one main storyline and the writers don't know how to get their characters where they need to be. On a show like Heroes though, you would think that with all the characters running about with all their different storylines, you would never have to succumb to such a screenwriting faux pas. Apparently, this is not the case.

Here is a quick rundown on how most digital artists create matte paintings. In a recent project I've been working on, I needed a background for the DVD menu. It needed to be 3 screens wide (2160x480) so that when you browse through the DVD options it will zoom you to the left or right.
The problem is, it needed to be a desert-ish scene, and it had to have certain elements. |
