I've been waiting for this issue for a long, long time.
Possibly important, definitely controversial, issue 66 of the Heroes Graphic Novel entitled "The Ten Brides of Takezo Kensei" is bound to set off an explosion of fan theories. Beyond that, it's one of the best issues of the series that I've ever had the pleasure to read. The art is superb, the story is well-written, and the payoff at the end makes the entirety of Season Two look like episodes of "Cop Rock" (bonus points if you even know what that is).
The issue begins with Takezo Kensei, still in his casket/prison, reminiscing about the many lives he's led and the many loves he's had over the last 400 years.
And it only gets weirder from there... |

Like the bad penny he is, Noah Bennett shows up yet again in this weeks Heroes Comic. This weeks issue takes place inbetween season 1 and 2 of the show, with Noah and his family still on the run from the Company, but not yet in California.
In the comic, Noah and his family sit down in a local diner for a nice, relaxing, "normal" meal together (complete with obligatory waffles reference). Unfortunately, as we all know, nothing in the Bennett family is ever "normal".
Noah overhears two local police officers talking about a recent murder scene involving two local thugs that were found gnarled and twisted, like Michael Jackson before he "puts his face on".
Wacky hijinks ensue. |

While the rest of the television world is in complete and utter turmoil, it's nice to see that some good can come out of the recent writers strike (other than Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy being off the air I mean).
ABC recently announced that due to the bleak, barren and otherwise desolate primetime schedule(my words, not theirs), the season premiere of Lost will be moved up to Thursday, January 31st in the 9pm time slot, where it will stay, presumably, until the WGA strike is over or until "vampiric mutants wander the post-apocalyptic earth" (again: my words, not theirs).
Along with the announcement, the internet has been abuzz with the release of the new Season Four promo trailer and we've managed to get our greasy little hands on it and do a little digging.
Warning: There Be Spoilers Here.

A WORD FROM OUR ESTEEMED LEADER:
Hey everyone!
You're no doubt sitting in front of your computers at home, weeping uncontrollably and cursing the gods because there was no post this week.
At least, that's what I like to think you're doing.
So, just to let you all know I still care and haven't become rich and famous and started ignoring my fans yet, here's an overview of the weeks to come:

HEROES Powerless aka: "Burn in hell, Nikki" by Peter Sorensen
In the final episode of season 2, Sylar and Maya arrive in New York and their reunion with Mohinder doesn't go quite as planned (or maybe it does). Peter returns to his former level of "Chuck Norris"-itude and reunites with Nathan; Claire has a strange reunion of her own. Hiro continues his quest to find and bring justice to his father's killer, and we say goodbye to two Heroes permanently (by permanently, I mean until they think up some lame way to resurrect them next season).
Wow, Heroes writers. It seems that some of you were paying attention last year because quite frankly:
That is how you write a season finale. Wow.
It was action-packed, it was funny, it was thrilling. It said what it needed to say, it got characters where they needed to be, and it left us all with a big surprise (myself included). Maybe they need to quickly rewrite all of their episodes from now on; it seems to work out pretty well for them!
