 Helping his case is the recently released teaser trailer for Captain America (a BleepingGeek exclusive, by the way). I have personally time-traveled into the future and mugged a studio executive to bring you this footage, so you should thank me. Here, finally: proof that Daniel Craig might just have what it takes... Get Flash to see this player.
Ok, ok... so it's not really a Captain America teaser trailer. You caught me - it's actually just my re-cut version of the trailer for Daniel Craig's new film, "Defiance", in which he stars as one of three Jewish brothers who attempt to escape Poland during WWII. But c'mon! Wasn't that awesome?! Wouldn't you love to see Cap running around saving people in the middle of the second World War? Blowing stuff up, becoming partners with Bucky (yes, I meant for the kid in the trailer to be Bucky), dawning the suit and cowl and shield? Wouldn't it be much better than seeing a dude in a rubber latex bodysuit with wings on his head toss a shield around? I think it would be... Anyway, here is the newly released poster for "Defiance", and you can see the original trailer HERE at Yahoo :  Paramount Vantage's "Defiance" hits US theaters in Fall of 2008. Latest rumor has it that Marvel is courting... Leo DiCaprio for Cap. What the hell, Marvel? You pick such a perfect Tony Stark, and then you go off the deep end and pick a short, thin, boyish looking sissy for Cap? Leo might be good for Cap BEFORE he got the super soldier serum, but c'mon...

you know i think you may have something there with Daniel......never would have thought it myself. but anyone i mean ANYONE is better than matthew mcconaughey. yikes. well ahem maybe not, just read about the whole leo thing. maybe they SHOULDN'T get a guy that looks like he just came out of puberty. i would think that steve would be a little more um "seasoned". but what do i know? i'm just a girl...
