Marvel Comics has been subtlely (or maybe not-so-subtlely) hiding references to the hit TV show "Lost" in their comics.
25 titles (possibly more), over the course of the last month, have included Lost posters, Oceanic Airlines banners, and various text references, including "Find Yourself", "Find815.com", "The Lost... Are Found", and the number 6. From Amazing Spiderman to the X-Men, no comic was safe from this sneaky marketing campaign between ABC and Marvel Comics.
Did you spot them?
We poured over page after page of comics to find them all, and we've got them all for you right here.
Michael Pasciullo, Vice President Merchandising & Communications for Marvel Entertainment had this to say about the cross-promotion between the two companies:
"This is an incredibly innovative way for ABC to generate interest and excitement for the show's upcoming premiere... We were able to seamlessly integrate these elements from the "Lost" world into the books in a way that does not take away from the stories but adds some fun and intrigue for both our readers and fans of the show as well."
