In a shocking (but somehow obvious) revelation, ABC Entertainment President Stephen McPherson told members of the Associated Press that Harold Perrineau, who plays the character "Michael" on the hit show Lost, will return to the show next season.
Last time we saw Michael, he was betraying his fellow survivors by turning them over to the Others in return for a way off the island for him and his paranormally creepy son, Walter.
After turning over Hurley, Jack, Kate, and Sawyer, Michael was given a boat and told to follow a precise heading off the island, sparking a wild fan-fueled debate over why you could only leave the island by that exact heading. |

LOST Through the Looking Glass aka: "Spoilers be damned" by Peter Sorensen
In the season finale of Lost, Jack's plan continues and the assault on the beach begins. Meanwhile, Ben tracks down Jack and the rest of the Losties while Desmond and Charlie try to shut down the jamming station. The flashbacks for the episode belong to Jack, and the world of Lost will never be the same. Where can I even start here? The only thing that comes to mind at the moment is this:
Wow.
Just... wow.

I thought that since last weeks Lost review was eaten by the cyber gremlins, I'd post a little bit of spoiler-ish stuff in anticipation of Lost's season finale tomorrow night.
This is by no means definitive, but it's just a few things I've picked up from the net. Feel free to add a comment below with your opinions or links to any interesting sites. |

LOST The Man Behind the Curtain aka: "Well, they both had Clancy Brown in them..." by Peter Sorensen
Ah, Lost. In this weeks episode we see how Benjamin Linus came to be on the island. Locke returns to the Others with his fathers body in tow and starts looking for answers. The Losties finally confront Jack about Juliet, and the tape that Sawyer was given. And to top it all off, we finally get to see the mysterious Jacob.
What? Wait... what? You mean... huh? I, uh... uh... WHAT?!! WTF? Does that mean that... wait a sec. Huh?
*scratch, scratch*
WHAT?!!
That's pretty much how I felt about last night's episode. This close to the season finale, I was sure they were going to bring out some big guns, but last night blew my damn mind. |

LOST The Brig aka: Basil Exposition Rides Again! by Peter Sorensen
Ah, Lost. In this episode, Locke returns to the Beach and asks Sawyer for a very odd favor (no, not that kind of favor). Meanwhile, no one trusts Jack, Sayid tries to get the satellite phone working, and more plot holes get sloppily filled.
Three years now I have watched Lost. And for three years I have been saying that the show had pacing problems. I have often complained, here and on other sites, that there would be hell to pay for the long, dragging plots that never seemed to go anywhere. And, judging from this weeks semi-flashbackless episode, I was right.

LOST D.O.C. aka: "E.R. - Lost style" by Peter Sorensen
Ah, Lost. In this episode, Sun learns the identity of her "baby daddy" (without the help of Montel Williams no less) after Juliet examines her; Desmond allows an unlikely enemy to help save the life of another mysterious island inhabitant.
I'm really not sure how to feel about this week's episode. On one hand, it's nice to see that things are starting to come to a head, and that we're making progress with the show's greater mysteries. But on the other hand, I can't help but feel a little overwhelmed and hurried by the new pace the show has adopted. Maybe it's because they waited so long to answer these questions, or maybe I'm just used to a slower plotline, but either way these episodes are barreling quickly towards the season finale, destroying everything in their path. And now, with the last lines of this episode, we've been thrown back into the theory pit and all the craziness it contains. |
