Lost Rumors
This week, in place of my regular review (damn you midseason break), I'll instead be covering some of the latest (and strangest) news and rumors about Lost floating around the "internet-o-sphere".

This week - we have an odd casting plea, a hint at a season finale snogging, and a character connection so insane that it might blow up your computer screen upon viewing it.

Seriously, make sure you have a good surge protector before reading the rest of this article...

Valis, as it appears on Lost

Once is chance, twice is a theme.

In both Eggtown and The Other Woman, the book Valis by Philip K. Dick made a cameo, picked from Bens personal bookshelf. And, as most Lost viewers know, nothing happens on this show by chance.

Valis is about a man by the name of Horselover Fat who, during a strange experience with a pink beam of light, begins to understand that the world in which he lives is a lie. There are also people who claim to be aliens and a two year old girl who just might be the new Messiah, but if you've ever read anything by Philip K. Dick you know full well that it's just easier for you to go out and read it than it would be for me to try to explain the whole thing to you.

However, the book itself isn't what has me scratching my head like some B-Movie scientist...

...it's how the book came to be.

LOST: Ben's Spy on the Boat REVEALED!

SPOILER WARNING!

Ever since Benjamin Linus droppped the bombshell earlier in the season that he had a spy aboard the freighter, many have speculated as to his identity. Is it someone we've met before? Is it someone new? Is it a four-toed alien time-traveler who never ages?

Ok, no one speculated that last one, but still: people have been guessing.

Well, guess no more - thanks to a friend of the site we have a picture from an upcoming episode of Lost that just might prove once and for all who Ben's "man on the boat" is.

Dollar Short: 5 Reasons Why TV Sucks
Thursday, 04 October 2007
imageSo I'm a day late.
I was going to post a review of Tuesday night's episode of Reaper, as well as give my thoughts on the new "improved" version of Cavemen (sarcasm), but after seeing the Nielson Ratings for Tuesday night, I decided to change topics.

Why? Well, you see: I love television. I really do. I grew up a TV baby, and I honestly can't remember a point in my life that I wasn't watching at least one show religiously. Maybe it was the Thundercats, maybe it was Double Dare, maybe it was Buffy the Vampire Slayer (maybe that was just a phase). Regardless, TV is a part of my life.

But... (he says with a dramatic Shatner-esque pause)... TV Sucks.

We all know it does. Has there ever been a time when you wondered to yourself "Why the hell am I watching this"? If you've never done that, well... you're reason #5.
